As an accomplished business woman, Patty Reilly-Murphy is a strategic, innovative, experienced sales leader with a proven track record of success in the competitive verticals of broadcast & digital media, and experiential marketing. Her specialties include creating new revenue opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, staffing, talent Development, creative problem solving, team building and delivering results. Patty has been with WXRT, Chicago’s Finest Rock,for more than 30 years and has the stories to back it up—stories about the business, what it’s like to be a woman in advertising, as well as the inside scoop on some of the nation’s most infamous rockers. Patty serves a XRT’s Local Sales Manager.

In addition to her accomplishments as a business leader, Patty has also been an active participant in many social justice and political campaigns. She is a staunch supporter of President Obama and proud to have campaigned throughout the Midwest on his behalf in both 2008 and 2012. She is a proud member of the Democratic Party of Oak Park.

Patty and her husband, Ron Murphy, reside in Oak Park-- where they raised four talented children Ron, Brendan, Sean and Kara. She is the grandmother of two beautiful little boys. If you ask anyone that knows her, they will say she has a heart of gold and is a wildly spirited woman.
