David has been reviewing movies for online viewing for the past eight years and in 2010 he co-founded Keeping It Reel (www.keeping-it-reel.com), a website where all his reviews can be found. He is the main writer and editor-in-chief of the site and also contributes reviews to fanboyplanet.comand hollywoodchicago.com. He has discussed movies on local Chicago podcasts and has been a member of the Chicago Film Critics Association since August 2013. As a native of Chicago, he grew up heavily-influenced by both Ebert and Siskel, which helped shape his love of film. David remains optimistic that cinema can be as enlightening, challenging and powerful as it is entertaining.
