Bloodshot Records 20th Anniversary Showcase features the brooding, anthem-riding balladry and orchestral indie rock of Bloomington, Indiana’s Murder by Death. In their 10+ year career they have created their own niche of orchestral indie rock with an array of styles including waltzes, jigs and gospel music. Pulling & expanding on various folklore and themes of lust, betrayal, and classical archetypes of good and evil. Their songs have been called the sonic equivalent of 'No Country For Old Men'. Andre Williams, R&B legend at age 77, has written some bad-ass soul shakers & entertained with his stories and charisma for the past 50 years.Opening the night is Nora O’Connor & Danny Black’s Precious Blood (of The Blacks).
