All film festivals start with their own unique vision, sometimes conceived through thoughtful considerations and debate...sometimes over drinks at a bar. Either way, it is the curators who bring that vision to life. Along the way they deal with many realities: what films will be ready to screen; will they be available; will people want to see them? Adam Montgomery

Adam Montgomery has been the Senior Manager of Programming for the Sundance Film Festival since 2005, where he oversees the selection process for the more than 12,000 submissions that the Festival receives annually. Additionally, he lends his passion for cult and genre filmmaking to the programming of the Festival’s Park City at Midnight section.
