An inventive ode to creativity, 20,000 Days on Earth fuses drama and reality by weaving the journey of a fictional day in Nick Cave’s life, giving us a window into his creative process through staged but not scripted scenes and encounters as well as more traditional footage of his rehearsals and performances. Winner of two awards at Sundance, the film is the debut feature film by visual artists Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard and features an original score by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.
